Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a formal agreement between you and the VeriWorkly Team regarding your use of the VeriWorkly platform (the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Service.

2. Scope of Service
VeriWorkly provides an open-source, local-first resume builder that allows users to create, store, and manage professional documents. The Service includes optional cloud-based synchronization and managed sharing features.
3. User Content
Ownership
Users retain full intellectual property rights and ownership of the content created within the Service.
License to Operate
By using the cloud-based features, you grant the Service Operator a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., rendering PDF files, synchronizing data across devices).
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Attempting to circumvent authentication, rate limiting, or security measures.
- Utilizing the Service to distribute malicious software or phishing content.
- Automated scraping or data mining of the Service’s infrastructure.
- Reverse engineering or unauthorized modification of the hosted Service.
5. Intellectual Property
The VeriWorkly source code is distributed under the MIT License. These Terms govern the use of the hosted service operated by the VeriWorkly Team and do not restrict your rights to use, modify, or redistribute the source code in accordance with the MIT License.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. THE VERIWORKLY TEAM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE VERIWORKLY TEAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
